Who is PH Formula?

PH formula is a skincare company based in Barcelona, Spain, and founded by Petru van Zyl, a researcher in skin biology and cosmetic chemistry from South Africa. Van Zyl’s passion was simple: she wished to create a unique skin resurfacing system that could mimic the results of a chemical peel, without having to go through a chemical peel.

What is skin resurfacing?

While the phrase ‘skin resurfacing’ is typically reserved for surgical or clinical cosmetic procedures, skin resurfacing in the wider sense involves removing the top layer of the skin to exfoliate, remove dead skin cells, and achieve a brighter, more youthful appearance. Skin resurfacing can also boost the production of collagen, an important anti-aging protein found in the skin and body.
